The Department of Orthopaedics and Trauma treats diseases of the musculoskeletal system as well as new injuries, polytrauma, sports injuries and the consequences of injuries to the musculoskeletal system. As the national expertise center for bone and soft tissue tumors, it is also concerned with the diagnosis and treatment of benign and malignant tumors.
Pediatric orthopedics in the children's center is the main point of contact for problems affecting the musculoskeletal system in childhood or adolescence.
The division has a total of nine clinical sections that cover the entire spectrum of surgical and conservative orthopedics and highly specialized traumatology.
